Played Out is gearing up!

I am pleased to let you know about the Played Out fundraiser.  This is an effort that the youth kids from one of our favorite grand junction churches are putting on to help raise money for kid's aid, a group that provides food for hungry kids during the school year.  Please check out the Played Out website, or the kid's aid website.

A little game demo

This is a game demo I threw together tonight from a bunch of code I had laying around.  I had made a demonstration game with a framework to create a level of this shooter game and I used it to finally put together a level to show what it could do.  Really I am jsut posting this because my brother wanted to play the original version, which wasn't any fun.

This version I am calling version 0.1

Updates since version 0.0.1 include:

Springing forwards

Angela and I are trying to buy a house and we found out that the roof is probably going to need some repair work.  Looks like we might not qualify for the home loan because of it, but that isn't all bad since we might not want a house with a messed up roof anyways.

I preached again at our Grand Junction church, Living Hope EFC.  It is always nice to get another sermon out there.  I even got to include some of my failed zoo photos as part of the sermon on focus.

10 in '10 - Church Trends: In or Out
