The Ordinances
Both the Lord's Supper and Baptism are ordinances to be practiced in the church. Neither of these activities is necessary, nor able, to gain salvation, but they are activities instituted by the Lord Jesus as significant times of remembrance in the church. This is different from a view of ìSacramentsî that would have the Lord's Supper and Baptism be means of grace which are part of the method of salvation.
