I believe that the bible speaks of all Christians being united as one body. All who have come to faith in Christ are part of this body, no matter their level of interaction with a local church. This unity of the universal church should impact relations between local churches. Partnerships with churches should be pursued in order to further the kingdom of God. It is this belief which units churches in denominations and other organizations and, as least in the best situations, allows God's people from various locations and backgrounds to join in worship and service together.
