Called
On Sunday, May 3rd, 2009, Living Hope Church voted to extend to me a call as Associate Pastor. I am excited to be coming on staff and can't wait to start at the church. I think Living Hope is one of the strongest Grand Junction churches, and I am glad to be going there.
Stepping Forward
Last Sunday Living Hope Church presented me as the candidate for their new Associate Pastor position. I will be candidating there during the next two weeks and after church on May 3rd they will vote on bringing me on staff...
A New House
Angela and I have just moved across town into a larger apartment. It is a little bit bigger, a little bit cheaper, and the roof doesn't leak, so we consider it a win-win-WIN situation. There is still a sense of dread with moving, even when you are moving to a better place, because moving means packing.
Waiting for a call(back)
After a year of "hunting" and trying to find out where God is going to take me, I share my story of hope and madness in hunting for a church. Waiting on church contact is a long and sometimes madening process. Waiting to hear back after that first contact can be even harder...
